The Youth Care Counsellor is responsible for the development and administration of programs relating to the residents. <BR/><BR/>QUALIFICATIONS <BR/>The Youth Care Counsellor will have completed post secondary education in the Human Services field, a diploma in Child and Youth Care and/or a Degree. Experience working with challenging at-risk youth is an asset. The Youth Care Counsellor will also have demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs for youth. The Youth Care Counsellor must be self-directed and able to work with both males and female clients. <BR/>Current First Aid and CPR and Crisis Intervention certificates, as well as, a valid Class IV Operators Permit are also required for the position.
