Come on, cuz!

What is this? Blog vacation! Am I the only one out here these days? Golly.

In other news, I missed my first call for work. It's the thing I was most worried about, so since it happened at the beginning I guess it's only up from here. I have a shift on Thursday, but I'm hoping there will be several more this week (the student loan dogs are growling).

We still don't have a book picked. I haven't found anything, and I've been kicked out of the library again because of fines. Another reason I need more shifts!

At least it's stopped raining (knock on wood). It's been lovely here the past couple of days. Once you've experienced 80% humidity and 95 degrees farenheit, maritime summers seem like a piece of cake.

Here's an article I found in my travels today.
It's all of my fears realized. I recommend it for anyone considering a tubing adventure this summer.

This is the only time of year that I'm much of a hockey fan, and since everyone else is saying it: Go Oilers!

Evelyn, you make me laugh! Don't worry! We won't let you float out to sea on our tubing adventure! It would be a loooong trip and you'd get caught in the mill polution long before you made it to the sea.

I dreamt last night that it was August 11th, the day before the wedding, and I wasn't even near ready for the wedding! But I was most upset by the fact that we had all forgotten to go tubing!

Hey Evelyn,

we've also been mystified by the lack of blogging lately. I'm very jealous of NB's rain by the by...95% humidity over here and the temp has been in the mid-forties (celcius). I gots to get home before I melt!

Keep the laughs coming Evelyn, you definitely have a gift for it!

Ruth and Sean

PS-We are also mourning Edmonton's loss...well, Sean isn't so much, but that's ok. You can lead a horse to water....

Ruth I totally had those dreams too. Except they didn't include tubing. But don't worry i'm sure you'll be well prepared! If not, fake it! Heck I once knew a girl who forgot her fiance's ring and didn't realize it until she got up to the alter... But even that didn't ruin it! I'm pretty sure they're still married to this day...
