Did he?? Did I hear that right? Huh? Is this thing on?

I believe Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada just ended his speech with a, "God bless Canada". Now, he may have done that before... but I have never heard a Canadian politician of any success end a speech with "God bless Canada". I'm not disagreeing by any stretch of the imagination, it was just a little shocking

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know.

Have you read,"A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?". At the beginning there's a seen where there are yellow bulldozers surrounding Arthur's house about to knock it down. Yesterday morning I was sure someone was doing that very thing to my apartment building... There's nothing like a jack hammer to knock the sleep out. I guess they're replacing the balcony of my neighbor's apartment, and they really wanted everyone in Dartmouth to know. I think I cracked a tooth, that's how loud it is. It's great... really...

In other news: I love "How Clean is Your House" on the W network. Let's me know that there are other people out there who are messier than I am. And at least I'm not perma-messy like those British people with the bad teeth. At least once a week I'll get completely fed up and clean, though that mood doesn't always last that long...

Speaking of cleaning, I must get back to my Tupperware. Vintage sometimes means scuzzy.
